As Ukraine prepares for a major operation to liberate all its territories from Russian occupation, the aid is growing like an avalanche. Following the US aid package, Germany also announced a new aid package for the Ukrainian army.
The balance in the Ukraine-Russia war has changed with the support of Western and European states. Ukraine has gained great superiority over the Russian invaders with the military and intelligence aid it received. Russia was forced to withdraw from most of the territories it had occupied since the beginning of the war. Ukraine is now preparing a major operation against Russia, which is trying to prolong the war in the east of the country. After the big offensive, the Russian occupiers will withdraw from all occupied territories, including Crimea!
The greatest support for the Ukrainian army has come from Western and European countries. The military aid provided by NATO’s leading country, the United States, alone has so far amounted to 47 billion dollars.
Germany is another country that has provided Ukraine with both military aid and military training.
Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Andriy Yermak said that Germany has announced a new military aid package worth 2.7 billion euros to Ukraine.
According to Yermak, Germany’s aid package will include 20 Marder IFVs, 30 Leopard tanks, 4 IRIS-T-SLM systems, 200 reconnaissance drones, 100 armored vehicles, 100 logistics support vehicles, 15 Gepard systems, and a large amount of ammunition.
At the same time, Germany’s largest arms company Rheinmetall announced plans to produce tanks, anti-aircraft defense systems, and ammunition on Ukrainian territory.
With the help of Western and European countries, the Ukrainian army gained the upper hand in the war against the Russian invaders. Now it is preparing for a major operation to expel the Russian invaders from its territory. Undoubtedly, the biggest supporter of Ukraine in this operation has been the United States. The US, the leading country of NATO, which has sent powerful weapons such as HIMARS, JDAM, and Javelin, including Patriot missiles, has so far provided nearly 47 billion dollars in military aid alone.
