The war between Ukraine and Russia is escalating in Bakhmut! Until today, the Ukrainian army managed to reverse the situation in the region where the Russian invaders were superior. While the Russian invaders lost power, the Ukrainian army made progress.
In recent days, the Russian invaders have started attacking from all sides to capture Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Lyman districts! Aiming to capture the city and advance the occupation, Russia has lost more than 100,000 soldiers in and around Bakhmut alone since the beginning of the war. In Bakhmut, which is in a very strategic position, Russian invaders increased their troop deployment and attacks. The Ukrainian army continues to respond with the same strength!
Ukrainian army commander General Oleksandr Syrskyi recently announced that Russian troops had begun to withdraw. The latest assessment of the war in Bakhmut came from the US think tank Institute for the Study of War (ISW). ISW reported that Ukrainian troops made progress in Bakhmut.
The US think tank published a video showing the successful operations of the Ukrainian army. Stating that the video took place west and southwest of the town of Donetsk near Khromove and Bila Hora, ISW said Ukrainian forces advanced 1.6 miles along the front line near Bakhmut.
Syrskyi said:
“In some areas of the front, the enemy could not withstand the onslaught of the Ukrainian defenders and retreated to a distance of up to two kilometers,”
The dispute between the Wagner Group and the Russian army played a major role in the Ukrainian army’s gaining the upper hand in Bakhmut. Recently, Wagner’s boss Prigozhin said that the Russian soldier had fled.
Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade posted a video on social media purportedly showing the battle with Russia’s 72nd Brigade. The video clearly confirms Prigozhin’s statements. The clip shows Russian soldiers fleeing from armored vehicles.
