Poland was one of the countries that provided the greatest support to the Ukrainian army, which continues to prepare for a major operation to liberate all its territories, including Crimea, from Russian occupation. Poland sent 14 fighter jets and more than 300 tanks to Ukraine during the war!
In the Ukraine-Russia war, the balance has changed with the support of Western and European states. Ukraine gained great superiority over the Russian invaders with the military and intelligence assistance it received. Russia had to withdraw from most of the territories it had occupied since the beginning of the war. Ukraine is now preparing for a major operation against Russia, which is trying to prolong the war in the east of the country. The biggest supporter of the Ukrainian army in this preparation has been Poland, a neighboring country.
Poland, which has been sending constant aid throughout the war, has sent 325 tanks to Ukraine so far. This figure is equal to half of the number of tanks sent by Western states! Western states have sent a total of 575 tanks to Ukraine so far. After Poland, the Netherlands came second with 85 tanks, Germany third with 80 tanks, and the United States fourth with 76 tanks.
Poland was also one of the few countries to provide Ukraine with fighter jets. Poland sent 14 of the 28 aircraft transferred to Kyiv. These aircraft were the MiG-29, the first turbofan-engined air combat aircraft.
The Ukrainian army struck a big blow to the Russian invaders with the tanks and fighter jets sent.
The Ukrainian army has so far managed to destroy a large part of Russia’s tank fleet. Russia lost 50 percent of its key pre-war tank fleet in the first nine months of the war. So much so that Russia’s total tank loss reached 4,000!
According to official statistics, more than 200,00 Russian soldiers have died in the war so far. Only 100,000 Russian soldiers were killed in and around Bakhmut. The majority of these soldiers are soldiers of the Wagner Group. At the same time, thousands of tanks, armored vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft, and helicopters belonging to the Russian invaders were successfully destroyed by the Ukrainian army.
