Ukraine is preparing a major operation to liberate all its territories, including Crimea, from Russian occupation. Major General Kyrylo Budanov, Ukraine’s top military intelligence official, said that the recapture of Crimea will be the end of the war!
Ukraine has managed to liberate most of the occupied territories since the beginning of the war. Russia is trying to establish a presence in several regions in the east of the country. Ukraine, which wants to liberate all its territories, including Crimea, from Russian occupation, is counting the days for the great offensive against the enemy! Fearing a counterattack by the Ukrainian army, Russian leader Putin has increased his measures in Crimea. He started to set up anti-tank traps and barricades on the Crimean coast. No matter how many measures Putin takes, he is determined not to stop until the Ukrainian army takes back Crimea.
Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, said in his latest statement that they are determined to expel the Russian occupiers from their territory. Budanov emphasized that the war will not end until Crimea and the Donbas region are completely liberated.
Budanov said:
“If Crimea is the last to be taken [from Russia], this will be the end. If Crimea is taken first and Donbas is not taken yet, then this is not the end. There is only one way to end this war – by returning the borders in any form, but our borders of 1991. It is impossible and unrealistic to end this war without solving territorial problems”
Budanov also said that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces enter Crimea, there will be no nuclear attack.
Promising to take back Crimea, Budanov said that Russia deceived its people with propaganda. Budanov added the following statements to his words: “Believe me, the propaganda machine there works like a model, it really is a model. They ‘fool’ their population like no one else in the world can do,”
