In recent days, Russian invaders have been trying to continue the occupation attempt from Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Lyman regions! The fiercest clashes between Ukraine and Russia are undoubtedly taking place in Bakhmut’te in Donetsk Oblast. Russia, which aims to seize the city and advance the occupation, makes statements that it has seized the “life route” between Chasiv Yar and Bakhmut. However, intense clashes in the region show that the struggle continues in Bakhmut! Ukrainian soldiers successfully repel the attacks of the Russian invaders!
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that they repelled more than 30 Russian attacks. The General Staff said: “Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities, where our soldiers bravely defend,”
The Ukrainian Air Force carried out a total of four strikes on Russian manpower clusters. Artillery units hit a Russian control post, two clusters, two ammunition depots, and a fuel depot.
Serhii Cherevatyi, the spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the Russian occupiers’ troop deployment to the region was accelerating. Saying that over 26,000 Russian invaders are currently fighting in Bakhmut, Cherevatyi said:
“In the Bakhmut direction, 25,600 personnel, 65 tanks, 450 armored fighting vehicles, 154 guns, and 56 multiple launch rocket systems are being deployed to fight against us,”
Ukraine’s Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar said that even if the Russian occupiers pour all their resources into Bakhmut, they are far from capturing the city. In her latest statement, Maliar said:
“Fierce battles are ongoing in the city of Bakhmut. The enemy is not able to take control of the city, despite the fact that they threw all resources into the battle and even had success in some areas.”
According to the latest statistics, since the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian army has successfully killed more than 190,000 Russian invaders! According to information obtained by US intelligence, the Russian invaders lost more than 100,000 soldiers in Bakhmut alone!
